Welcome to Kindergarten with Miss Karen

Join Miss Karen for a special story time for this fall’s Kindergarteners dealing with questions and concerns about going to school.

Registration is requested for this event. Please select one date only please!

You can click on the link below to go to the August Event Calendar, or visit and click on Event Calendar. Select the date you would like to attend, click on the hand holding the pen, and enter your CHILD’S information into the boxes.

We are now half way through Week #3 here at the Manlius Library (sorry about the late posting, we’ve been so busy!).

As of today (Wednesday, July 17, 2013) you guys have read 8,146 books and 145,564 minutes! WHOA!

This weeks prize is a slice of pizza at MARK’S PIZZERIA! So don’t forget to come on in and claim that yummy piece of cheesy goodness!

ALSO! As of this week you can now go online to register for our August activities! Click on the link below and it will take you to the Events Calendar for August.

Simply click on the hand holding the pen for the correct date and time of the activities you would like to attend.

The M.O.S.T. and Zoo To You are currently filled, but all other activities for August are still open!

Week #2 of Summer Reading Reporting!

This is the second week of reporting for the Summer Reading Program here at the Manlius Library.

M.O.S.T. Program – JULY 16, 2012

The Museum of Science and Technology (The M.O.S.T.) will be returning to the Manlius Children’s Library this summer! On Monday, July 16 at 1pm come to the program Beyond Dreams: The Real Science of the Night.

What does nighttime mean to you? Is it safe or frightening? Why does the sun set? And what do other animals do at night? This 45 minute interactive science show from the MOST examines different aspects of the night and our relationship to it. This show is designed for people of all ages.

Come and see what your Young Artists have been doing all summer! Student creations from our Summer Art Program will be displayed in the Storytime Room and the “CAVE” (Community Room).  Art instructor Jamie Sedal will share highlights of our summer experiences at 1:30 in the Storytime Room. Refreshments will be served.
